Optimal EWWW image optimizer settings

The nice thing about the EWWW Image Optimizer is that you only have to set it up once, then it’s on autopilot. It compresses your images as you upload them saving your website valuable bandwidth and improving load times. There is a free version and a paid version.

You can check out the paid version of EWWW here (aff): https://wplearninglab.com/go/ewww-image-optimizer

  1. Hi,
I was using PRO version of Converter for Media by Matt Plugins which I was going to drop after I installed Airlift plugin?
By the way On Home Page Optimization I saw Size PREV 116.KB and NOW 219.9 KB. Shouldn’t be opposite?
I’m not giving you my website address because I’m embarrassed.

    1. Hi Jula,

As far as I know, Converter for Media only addresses image optimization, where as Airlift does a whole lot more. When you have Airlift installed and it’s finished it’s optimization work then the PREV size should definitely be smaller than the NOW size. No worries about your website, I understand and I don’t judge, but if you added your site here it would like your username to your website. If you want me to check out your site privately you can email me at bjorn@wplearninglab.com
